Sushi Maro Japanese Restaurant
Tried couple times, despite they mentioned 3-5 happy hours, I haven’t received any happy hour menu or offer by the waitress. I tried Launch Box B, the misso soup wasn’t good and the salad was too small, other than was good. $16 before tax and tip.

Spinach gomae was sent back. Asked for a house salad to replace and it never came. Veg tempura went uneaten...some pieces undercooked and others over. Edamame looked rather brown but was edible. Sushi rice was mushy. There were lemon garnishes on the rainbow roll. Plastic grass decorations and parsley on the plate with the rolls. Timing issues from the kitchen. The servers were pleasant and apologetic but very novice.

Mon Sushi
Waited 10 minutes for any service. Our menus were dropped off and our waitress left without a word. High prices and bad service we walked out.

Went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Absolutely loved the place. Great service, fresh sushi. waiter help us choose the dish and make the entire experience very pleasant.

Great food and staff. Slight deep fried fish smell in restraunt but well worth the trip from Winnipeg.Good Veggie Options and the Rose Garden rolls were beautiful and tasty

The food is great and not overpriced!The service however is lacking, in a few areas, understaffed, expecting one server to look after the entire restaurant at lunch rush is not a recipe for success!Having said that the server was friendly and tried very hard!The fire chicken is awesome, as was all the sushi.Hoping the new owners of Mon Sushi, can iron out the kinks in the service as it took a while to get menus, to get water & tea, and the food comes out from the kitchen a bit willy Nilly!If people can be patient, and go with the flow, knowing what to expect!Then the experience can still be good!

Excellent Sushi!!Definitely will be back for more. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The Tempura Pickerel Cheeks were amazing! Love that pickerel is on the menu. Can’t wait until our next order.
